Purpose Feature articles are detailed pieces of writing that explore a range of issues, opinions, experiences and ideas. Find a topic that is interesting to you. Easier said than done.

Expand on the topic using who, what, when, where and how. Infographics are still hugely popular online as they deliver a lot of information and commentary in bite-sized form. From your interview notes glean one that sums up your article or gives a final word.
Write stories on those running for class offices and talk about their strengths and weaknesses. Include photos and slides.I usually write about tips and tricks how arts companies and small business can use marketing, and promoting and talking about a ‘service’ as opposed to ‘product’ I sometimes found difficult, but you’ve given some great creative ideas as to how this content can be re-purposed or re-looked at.
The idea behind this exercise is quantity, not necessarily quality. You might come up with some junk ideas as you race to write them down, but at least you’ll come up with ideas.
Those ideas can be massaged and coaxed into an awesome title or topic for a winning article. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
